Make a room-by-room list

List the problems and improvements separately: a failed outlet belongs in a different discussion from additional lighting or a future charger. Note which items affect daily use and which can be scheduled later.

Plan around your household

Mention home-office schedules, tenants, pets and areas with limited access. If someone else will meet the team, agree who can authorize changes. Share any equipment that requires advance planning before a power interruption.

Keep the proposal understandable

Ask for the work areas, equipment responsibilities and any exclusions to be identified. A phased plan can separate immediate repairs from future improvements without treating every item as one undefined project.
